He was predeceased by: his parents, R. T. Owens and Lillie Belle Owens (Darnell); and his siblings, Dorothy Bothwell, Richard Taylor and Gary Owens.
He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Eileen Sickles; his children, Angela Owens of Carrollton and Steven Wayne Owens (Stephanie) of Aubrey; his grandchildren, Taylor Rainey Deshazo, Chase Alvey (Morgan), Emily Owens, Ryder Owens and Brock Alvey; his great grandchildren, Talise and Jaxon Deshazo; his siblings, Shirley Barrett of Chandler, Charles (Bud), Pat Creglow (Fred) of Aubrey, Joe Owens (Sharlotte) of Pilot Point, Linda Hammett (Gary) of Aubrey, Roger Owens (Diana) of Green Valley and Michael Owens (Paula) of Slidell; and his sister-in-law Marge Sickles of Denton. He is also survived by his family and friends.
