He is survived by: his wife Lisa Welcher; his father Larry Welcher; his children, Krista, Chris (Holly), Meggan (Chuck) and Matthew Wilkes (Whitney); his sisters, Brenda Terry (Charles) and Pam Hunnicutt (Mitchel); and his grandchildren, Lillie, Chase, Harper, Kyle, Luke and Hallie.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 5th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Sanders Funeral Home (1420 Main St, Lubbock, TX 79401). A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 4:00 PM.
