He is survived by: his children, Hannah Nicole Faries of Aubrey, TX, Tara Elizabeth Faries of Bentonville, AR, Connor Matthew Faries and Gabriel Treyce Faries of Aubrey, TX; his brother Jonathon Faries of Concord, NC; his nephews, Ezra Nolan Faries and Jesse Noah Faries of Concord, NC; his friend Heather Faries; and his mother Ava Jean Smith Faries (Smith) of Concord, NC.
Michael was recently able to travel to Norway, India, Scotland, England, Ireland, and Canada as part of his integral contribution to his company, Quorum Software, where he worked faithfully for 18 years.
