It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Louisa De Vastey of Aubrey, Texas, who passed away on November 6, 2024, at the age of 103, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Louisa De leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Arrieux and Sulfica Arrieux; her husband Andre De Vastey; and her son George. She is survived by: her children, Joseph De Vastey (Linda), Marc Luc De Vastey, Yvelise Plantin and Gina Fils-Aime (Georges); her nephew Rev. James Cartright; and her cousins, Lillie Bernard and Marguerite Francois. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
