It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gertru Walker (Aubrey, Texas), born in Allegan, Michigan, who passed away on March 27, 2019, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Schneider and Margaret Schneider (Rixson); her husband Jimmy Benton Walker; her daughter Norma Jean Freeman; and her brothers, Bill Snyder, Bob, Henry, Frank and George Schneider.
She is survived by: her children, Sandra DeVault of Little Elm, TX and Jim Julian of Pullman, MI; and her siblings, Elbert Schneider of Virginia, Elaine of Allegan, MI., Ruth Ann of Allegan, MI., Betty Jean Schneider of Allegan, MI. and Lorna Russell of Allegan, MI.. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; ten great- grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren.
