He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Wilmont and Maude Pearl Carroll (Sorrels); his former wife Betty Lou Hinsley; his wife Anna Foley; and his siblings, Billy Paul "Pete" Carroll, Jimmy Thomas Carroll, Charles Edward "Bo" Carroll and Florence Adeline "Fay" Holbert.
He is survived by: his sisters, Patsy Mullen of Aubrey, TX and Betty Ruth Dockins of Mesquite, TX; and his sisters-in-law, Louise Carroll of Aubrey, TX and Jonell Carroll of Pilot Point, TX. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
