Bobbie Francis Mays Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 8, 2025, at the age of 93, Bobbie Francis Mays of Aubrey, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her mother Mary Byrd Rogers Allen; her siblings, Jack Allen, John Christian, Richard Allen, Betty-Joe Jordan, Jeanne Walker, Patsy Standerfer, Sue Hodges and Lou Self; her children, Michael Joe, John Patrick and Deborah Susan; and her great grandchild Conner Montgomery.
She is survived by: her husband James A. Mays; her friend Virginia Morrow; her daughter Cynthia Bounds (Bill Bounds) of Sanger; and her great grandchildren, Cullen Bounds, Jake Lewis, Hayden Palmer, Riley Palmer, Michael Montgomery and Aidan Jezek. She is also survived by loving extended family and many dear friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Bill DeBerry Funeral Directors (2025 W University Dr, Denton, TX 76201). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice in Bobbie's honor.
