She was predeceased by: her parents, Morris Sims and Vera Sitz Sims; her son Jimmie Cross; and her siblings, Leta Brown, Orville Sims and Alvin Sims.
She is survived by: her spouse J. C. "Booter" Cross; her children, Kathy Bellar (Ronnie) of Thackerville, Carolyn Howell (Cotton) of Granbury and Eddie Cross (Melinda) of Aubrey; and her sisters, Laverne Watkins and Berniece Wardlaw of Denton. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
