He was predeceased by: his parents, J. B. Eason and Myrtis Eason; his granddaughter Arabella Crosby; his daughter-in-law Ali Puckett; and his brother Roy "Rooster" Eason.
He is survived by: his wife Kathy Eason of Atlanta, Texas; his children, Aidan William Eason of Atlanta, Kaycen Sidney Eason of Atlanta, Texas, Katrina Carter (Michael) of Hurst and Whitney Eason of Mount Pleasant, Texas; his stepchildren, Logan Puckett (Anna) of Atlanta, Ethan Puckett of McLeod and Ashton Crosby (Jesse) of Atlanta, Texas; his brothers, Mike Eason (Jennifer) of Charlotte and John Eason (Debbie) of Atlanta, Texas; his grandchildren, Kirsten Holliday, Breanna Crosby, Chloe Puckett, Henry Puckett, Cruz Crosby, Ezekiel Puckett, Tristan Dodd, Zillah Puckett, Moses Crosby, Gabriel Puckett, Harlow Crosby and Lula Puckett; his great grandchild William Holliday; and his close friend Kay Partee.
