With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Sandra Gail Hurd of Atlanta, Texas, born in Greenville, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 5, 2024 at the age of 66. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ivory Whaley and Clifton Whaley; and her siblings, Dave Perry, Jr., David Whaley, Norris Sims, Richard Whaley, Calvin Whaley, Lorene Scott and Laura Mae Hollins.

She is survived by: her grandchildren, David Engleton, Aundra Haskins, Carshayla Reed Peterson, Chantoya Hurd, Te'Nya Hurd, McKyi, LaCharles Hurd, Charnette Hurd, Aaliya Hurd, Lenae Riley and Nathan Riley; her great grandchildren, Ma'Kayla Holbert and Ivory Carr; and her close friend Jean Newsom. She is also survived by nieces, nephews.
