He is survived by: his wife Sonya Sue Hall Hicks of Atlanta; his sons, Alan (Tish Hicks) and Byron (Sheri Hicks); his grandsons, Rob Hicks of Texarkana, Alex and Samuel Hicks of Austin; and his great grandchild Aubree Hayden of Prescott, Arkansas..
