He was predeceased by: his parents, Oliver Smith and Camille Smith; and his son Danny Reed Smith. He is survived by: his wife Sue Henson Smith; his daughter Debbie Smith Jones (Terry) of Atlanta, Texas; and his grandchildren, Melissa Smith, Danette Diakogiannis (Johnny), Michelle Smith and Brian Jones. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren; and many great-great-grandchildren.
