He was predeceased by: his parents, James Welcher and Nellie Welcher; and his siblings, Clarence, J. D. Welcher, Vera Arnold, Leola Jones, Irene Hooper, Kathryn Nix, LaVeta Elder and Pauline Manley.
He is survived by: his children, Larry Paul Welcher (Bobby Andrews) of Bradenton, Florida and Judy Kay Allen of Doddridge, Arkansas. He is also survived by nephews, nieces and other relatives.
