He was predeceased by: his former wife Dotty Manning; his siblings, Earnie Manning and Judy Thomas; and his stepdaughter Twyla Kilboy. He is survived by: his wife Darlene Jones Manning of Atlanta; his children, Lane Manning (Wendy) of Atlanta, Karen Carpenter of Atlanta and Robin Bennefield (Ronny) of Queen City; his stepson Lynn Jones of Atlanta; his brother Richard Manning (Deanna) of Paris; and his sister-in-law Donna Sampler of Lewisville. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and a number of other relatives.
