It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nora Ineva Lummus (Atlanta, Texas), who passed away on April 26, 2019, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde Nichols and Betty Nichols; her husband Gene Lummus; her grandson Adam Payne; her son-in-law Tommy Payne; and her siblings, Jimmy Nichols, Kathryn, Christine and Bonita.
She is survived by: her children, Dale Lummus (Vickie) of Atlanta, Texas, Teresa Payne of Atlanta and Lisa Payne (Dewayne) of Atlanta, Texas; her brothers, J. W. Nichols (Helen) of Queen City and Weldon Nichols (Ruth) of Tillatoba, Mississippi; her grandchildren, Justin Lummus (Holli) of Atlanta, Nathan Lummus (Veneta) of Atlanta, Daniel Payne (Jessica) of Texarkana, Maranda (Mark Howlett) of Bloomburg, Cristy McKinnie (Scott) of Atlanta and Ashley McKinnie (Brian) of Atlanta, Texas; and her great grandchildren, Clowey Lummus, Jake Lummus, Olivia Howlett, Riley Payne, Natalie Payne, Karter Payne, Luke Porterfield, Connor McKinnie, Kenneth McKinnie, Kacie McKinnie, Katlen McKinnie, Isabella Payne, Sofia Lummus and Lillian McKinnie. She is also survived by her kids, grandkids, and great grandkids.
Interment will be in New Hope Cemetery, Bloomburg, Texas In lieu of flowers.
