He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Mason and Mickey Mason; and his brother Danny Mason. He is survived by: his pet Dukey; his wife Patti Wilburn Mason of Jacksonville, Texas; his daughter Shelley Mason Endsley (Josh) of Atlanta, Texas; his stepchildren, Robyn Brooks (Robert) of Atlanta and Kelly Jeter of Texarkana, Arkansas; his brother Randy Mason (Barbara) of Atlanta, Texas; and his grandchildren, Lainey, Landri, Titus Endsley, Kade, Lexi, Bailey Brooks, Karliegh McCraw and Preston Looney.

“I was so sorry to hear that Michael has passed away, He was one of my many cousins from the Mason clan. He was close in age to my late sister, Margaret. When we were young, Aunt Mickey and Uncle Raymond would come to visit, and Margaret and Michael were like two peas in a pod as they played together. The last time I saw Michael was at a wedding several years ago. I remember us laughing as Danny, Michael and I told stories about each other from our childhood. God bless all of his family.”
