He is survived by: his wife Janet McKinney (Dowden); his children, Aaron McKinney (Candice) of Killeen, Bryan Dowden (Chasinique) of Queen City, Pamela Steward (Steven) of Balch Springs and Tracie McKinney (Jay) of Lancaster; his siblings, Harold McKinney of Atlanta, Will McKinney (Bobbie) of Texarkana, Lonnie McKinney, Billy Rowe, Johnny McKinney and Merline Lawson of Atlanta; and his great-aunt Mattie Sue. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild; a devoted host of nieces, nephews, cousins.
