She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Jesse Phillips and Ethel Phillips; her brother David Phillips (Diane) of Acworth, Georgia.; her husband Clifton Grimes; her daughters, Annette Grimes, Theresa Bowers and Cecilia Webb (David); her son-in-law Al Bowers; her grandchildren, Cristie Hahn (Jim), Stacy Rushing (Mike), Angela Kirk (Jon), Allison Bobe (Chris) and Rachel Aponte (Travis); and her great grandchildren, Abigail Hahn, Joshua Hahn, Tayler Frye (Blake), Cole Rushing (Montana), Jonas Kirk, Samuel Kirk, Lily Kirk, Andrew Bobe, Elizabeth Bobe, Catherine Aponte, Rebecca Aponte and Easton Frye. She was also cherished by her family which includes five grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and one great-great grandson.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the First Methodist Church (211 W 3rd St, Irving, TX 75061). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
