It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lois Elaine Stearns (Atlanta, Texas), born in Worcester, Massachusetts, who passed away on December 18, 2021, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Edwin Monks and Alice Monks (Stringer); her husband George Edson Stearns, Jr.; her siblings, Norman Monks (Mabel), Geoffrey Monks (Ellen), Irene Downing (Walter), Phyllis Langill (Paul) and Marjorie Wahlstrom (Edmund); her siblings-in-law, Martha Stearns Dunsmore (Murray), George and Donald Stearns (Marilyn); her children, Jane Emerson Doyle (Robert) and Keith Elliott Stearns (Tracy); and her grandchildren, Kathryn Henry, Amanda Thomas, Robert M Doyle, Courtney Stearns, Chelsea Stearns, Connor Stearns, Angela McCarty, Faith Stearns and Angel Stearns. She was also cherished by Numerous nieces, nephews, long-time friends.
