He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Jester and Hazel Jester; and his brother Thomas Walker Jester. He is survived by: his wife Martha Gail Caver Jester of Atlanta, Texas; his brother Bobby Jester (Charlotte Austin Jester) of Magnolia; his nieces and nephews, Lucretia Jester Adams (John Adams) of Lubbock, Texas, Melissa Jester Frazier (Stan Frazier) of Baytown, Texas, Nannette Jester Burrage of Spring, Texas, Bobby Jester Jr. (Deloris Jester) of Tomball, Texas and Larry Jester (Ellen Jester) of Spring; his sister-in-law Stephany Stephens Jester of Austin; and his children, Tiffany Jester Smith (Denzil Smith) of Austin, Texas and Stephen Jester (Suzanne Jester) of Blanco.
