She was predeceased by: her parents, William Doyle and Juanita Elizabeth Price Earnest; her former husband Jerry Ledon Murray; her husband Charles William Newton; her daughter Linda Gayle Murray; and her sister Frances McTigrit.
She is survived by: her children, Hank Murray (Mary) of Perrysville, OH, Deana McDuff (Troy) of Atlanta, TX and Cartha Vandiver (Robert) of Rhome, TX; and her siblings, Gary Earnest (Deborah) of Lake Village, Larry Earnest (Renee) of Iuka, MS, Peggy King (Paul) of Star City, Juanita Lawrence of England, Linda Simpson of North Carolina and Mavis Talbert of Fairfield Bay. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren.
