He was predeceased by: his parents, John Lee and Elizabeth Pyburn Dove; his wife Shelby Dove; and his granddaughter Melissa Adams. He is survived by: his children, Thomas Williams (Janene) of Katy, Texas, Duane Dove (René) of Asherton, Texas, John T. Dove, Jr. (Angelia) of Ore City, Texas, Joye Stewart of Middleburg, Florida and Donna Dove Philippi of Atlanta, Texas. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; four great grandchildren.
