It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Kennedy of Atlanta, Texas, who passed away on August 31, 2020, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John Marvin Kennedy and Wavie Estell Mitchell Kennedy; and his siblings, William Harold Kennedy and Vanessa Jane Kennedy. He is survived by: his wife Latricia Dauphin Kennedy of Atlanta, TX; his daughters, Susan Kennedy Summers (Scott) of Spearsville, LA, Helen Kennedy Wise (D. J.) of Shreveport, LA, Leah Miller Fricks (Cliff) of Texarkana, AR and Ashlie Miller Davis of Texarkana, TX; his siblings, Rose Ann Josey of Willis, TX and Dewey Edward Kennedy (Susan) of Dallas, TX; his sister-in-law Kate Grogan Kennedy of Vivian, LA; his grandchildren, Marshall Summers (Becky), Andrew Summers, Garrett Summers, Noah Summers, Maggie Wise, Millicent Fricks and Hadley Davis; his great grandchildren, Joey and Levi Summers; and his close friends, Stanley, Brent, Lee and Grant Rolon. He is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces.
