She was predeceased by: her parents, Amos Harris and Mellie Hughes Harris; her former husband Neal Birmingham; her brothers, Raymond Harris and Kerlin Harris; and her sisters-in-law, Charla Harris and Pat Harris.
She is survived by: her husband Robert McCord; her children, Sheryl Smith Curry (Dwayne), Becky Birmingham Montgomery (Art Fischman), Cheryl McCord, Mark Birmingham (Doris) and Chris McCord (Angie); her godson Paul Holder; her brother James Harris; her grandchildren, Jessica Clayton (Dillon), James Waylon Cornett (Heather), Amaris Birmingham, Clark Birmingham, Brock McCord and Blair McCord; her great grandchildren, Brooklynne, Brayson and Hailey Dalrymple; her great great grandchild Cooper Cunningham; and her sister-in-law LaJuan Harris. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
