It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jimmy Woods of Atlanta, Texas, born in Campti, Louisiana, who passed away on January 21, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Archie Franklin and Alma Lee Woods (Guin); and his siblings, Archie Woods Jr., Johnny Woods, Betty Gray, Martha Smith and Ann Danzy.

He is survived by: his wife Delois Woods (Snow) of Atlanta, TX; his daughters, Tonja Peek (Scott) of Atlanta, TX and Tammy Fowler (Scott) of Cypress, TX; and his siblings, Elray Woods of Campti, LA, Willie Lee Moxley of Karnack, TX and Cora Lynn Coldiron Beal of Campti, LA. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren.
