He was predeceased by: his parents, J. E. Shew and Cleo "Eudine" Shew; and his sisters, LaFaye Richardson and Kathy Shew. He is survived by: his wife Ola Faye Shew; his children, David Shew (Contessa), Joey Shew (Heather), Johnna Kunath (Jason), Tina Lewis (Corey), Ashley Elmore (Curtis) and Brittany Arbuckle (Colby); and his siblings, Wayne Shew (Anita), Pauline Manly, Wanda Bledsoe (Ronnie) and Brenda Dean. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
