He was predeceased by: his parents, S. D. "Jim" and Dorothy Sisk Sherman; and his son Eric Sherman. He is survived by: his wife Pat Sherman of Atlanta, Texas; his son Kevin Sherman (Camille) of Atlanta, Texas; his siblings, Ricky Sherman of Fort Worth, Keith Sherman of Hope, Arkansas and Gala Sherman of Texarkana, Arkansas; and his grandchildren, Chloe Sherman of Atlanta, Texas and Kyson Sherman of Atlanta, Texas. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
