He was predeceased by: his parents, Dortha Inez Hair Stroud and James Marvin Stroud; and his sister Marlene Stroud Miller. He is survived by: his former spouse Douglas Miller (Also Deceased); his wife Shirley Ann Daniel Stroud; his sister Eva Nell Stroud Miller of Mesquite; his nieces and nephews, Debbie Rash (Jimmie Dale) of Atlanta, Allison Amador (Bobby) and Melanie Blanton; his grandchildren, Krystal McClure of Atlanta, Jamie Johnson (Dustin) of Arkansas, Joni Villiard of Arkansas, Chandler Amador (Shannon) of Haltom City, Drake Amador (Vicky) of Mansfield, Sarah Blanton of Pennsylvania, Rebekah Bergren (Ryne) of Athens and Hannah Gist; and also, Keith Blanton of Clifton, Kelly Prettyman of Arizona, Ty Gist of Robinson, Leah Urie (Joshua) of Clifton, Penny Prettyman of Arizona and Parker Prettyman of Kansas. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
The family has requested that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Gideon's International (http://www.gideons.org) or Holly Street Church of God building fund.
