He is survived by: his wife Susan McGough of Atlanta, Texas; his children, Melynda Maxey (Darrell) of Fort Worth, Greta McGough of Torrington, Eric McGough (Leigh) of Tennessee and Rachel Swanson (Joseph) of Atlanta, Texas; his sisters, Beulah Jester of Dallas, Jean Thomas of Atlanta, Pat Carroll of Atlanta, Jewel Brown of Marietta and Shirley Heldt of Atlanta, Texas; his grandchildren, Jennifer Hopper, Hope Thompson, Alexis Inskeep, Jarrett Mitchell, Christopher Tyson, Marissa Tyson, Hugh Tyson and Ian Swanson; his stepgrandchildren, Callie Swanson, Gavin Swanson, Jordan Swanson and Will Swanson; and his great grandchildren, Colton James Hopper and Savannah Eileen Hopper.
