He was predeceased by: his mother Margaret Smyth Verschoyle; his brothers, Rowe and Charles Verschoyle; his parent Rowe Verschoyle; and his stepmother Margaret Reilly.
He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Brooks Verschoyle of Atlanta, Texas; his children, Becky Verschoyle Armstrong (Charlie) of Dallas and Brooks Verschoyle (Kasi) of Dallas, Texas; and his grandchildren, Kathleen Armstrong, Brooks Verschoyle, Jr., Margaret Armstrong and Jay Verschoyle.
