He is survived by: his wife Peggy Comfort of Atlanta, Texas; his children, Tim Comfort (Eden) of Concord and Kim Groves (Loren) of Rosette, Wyoming; his stepchildren, Timothy Smith of Fair Oaks and Lesa Butler (Steve) of Rualuch, France; his sister Linda Douglass of Bryan, Texas; his grandchildren, Clayton, Keiera, Aleise, Preston, Mikeilee, Khylei, Kaylie, Timothy, Sally, Bobby, Johnny, Jacob, Jenna and Katelyn; and his great grandchild Caedan.
