It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gwendolyn Glass Matthews of Atlanta, Texas, who passed away on July 1, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband I. W. Matthews, Jr. (I. W.); her parents, Haywood Glass and Lucille Glass; and her brothers, Haywood Glass, Jr., James O. Glass and Bennie E. Glass.
She is survived by: her daughters, Jill Matthews Richardson and Kelly Matthews Buckliew (Alan); her great-nephew Christopher Culotta (Lindsey); her brother Kenneth Glass; her grandchildren, Lisa Weber, Abby Richardson Roberson, Matthew Ogletree and Ian Richardson; and her great grandchildren, Julian Z. Weber, Reilly Weber, Kyle Cross and Cecily Gryder. She is also survived by numerous other nieces, nephews.
