He was predeceased by: his parents, Lex Sr. Whatley and Emma Florence Whatley; his siblings, Woodrow, Louise, O. B., Lex Jr., Avanell and Eunice; and his granddaughter Molly Kate.
He is survived by: his wife Audrey Dell Scott; his sons, Boyce (Kim), Brian (Marcie) and Brandon (Gwen); his grandchildren, Amanda Lafferty (Mason), Christopher Duck (Janna), Jami Kaleh (Sean), Caleb Whatley, Bethany Barrineau (Clinton), Josiah Whatley and Joshua Whatley; and his great grandchildren, Kaylee Duck, Trenton Duck, Mabry Lafferty, Jameson Lafferty, Declan Lafferty, Addison Duck, Cooper Kaleh and David Barrineau.
