He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Eleanor Delligan Molloy and John Aloysius Molloy; his siblings, Jack, Ken, Rosemary, Kathleen, Richard, Michael and Gary Molloy; and his children, Gerard F. Molloy, Jr. (Janet), Richard John Molloy, Christine Denise Molloy and Gregory Perella (Martha).

He is survived by: his wife Drema Molloy; his brothers, Don Molloy, Bill Kemp and Fred Kemp; his grandchildren, Jeffery Molloy, Richard John Molloy, II, Stephanie Molloy, Niall, Taylor Hageman, Alisha Perella Bale (Thomas) and Angela Perella Madgett (Braden); and his great grandchildren, Noah James Hahr, Amber Rose Bale, Ashley Rose Bale and Olivia Jane Madgett.
