He was predeceased by: his parents, Freddy Thomas and May Bell Thomas; his wife Jane Thomas; and his sisters, Georgia Lee Thomas, Dorothy Quada and Mary Ann Key.
He is survived by: his daughters, Kimberly Hampton (Steve) of Texarkana and Kathy Perkins (Jerry) of Hooks, Texas; his siblings, Ray Thomas of Huntsville, Texas, Fay Campbell (Thomas) of Atlanta and Neva Scott of Atlanta, Texas; his grandchildren, Miranda Jolly, Morgan Perkins, Sidney Perkins, Ethan Perkins, Amber Perry and Shaun Hampton; and his great grandchildren, Emori Frierson, Allison Perkins, Dawson Perkins, Isabela Perkins and Fox Perry.
