It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Clifton Perry Peninger of Atlanta, Texas, born in Kosciusko, Mississippi, who passed away on October 12, 2021, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Preston Peninger and Bessie Peninger; his brother Cleve Peninger; his niece Robin Phelps; his nephew Jamie Farmer; his siblings-in-law, Dennis Phelps, Carolyn Roberts, Linda Farmer and Karen Peninger; and his parents-in-law, James and Lois Farmer.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Peninger of Atlanta, Texas; his children, Cynthia Ethridge (Roy) of Atlanta, Becky Allday (Frank) of Atlanta, Kimberly Hammonds (Bo) of Atlanta, Texas and Wade Peninger of Shreveport, Louisiana; his siblings, Clarence Peninger (Terri) of Florida, Betty King (Russell) of Shreveport and Dorothy Phelps of Benton, Louisiana; his grandchildren, Paige Butts (Will) of Cameron Davis, B. J, Blaine Hammonds, Conner Ethridge and Chad Peninger (Holly); and his great grandchildren, Bentley Butts, Hadley Butts, Beckham Butts, Heston Peninger, Addison Peninger and Katilyn Peninger. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives.
