He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, T. L. "Ted" Young and Helen Lucille Phillips Young; his brother Bob; his sons, Joshua Wayne Young of Shreveport and Jeremy Lee Young (Jennifer Johnson Young) of Blanchard; his siblings, Bonnie Young Harper (James D. Harper III) of Waco, Texas and Neil Young of Scottsville, Alabama; his granddaughters, Kallee and Jolee; his stepgrandchildren, Hunter, Ava and Eli; his nephews, Wade Rasberry, Todd, Eric Young and Gary Lee Rasberry; his niece Stephanie Young Stroud; and also, Giles Peacock, Tim Leach and Bob.
The family suggest memorials be made to benefit Trinity Heights Baptist Church, 3820 Old Mooringsport Rd. Shreveport, LA 71107; or West Side Baptist Church, 712 W Main St, Atlanta, TX 75551.
