With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Billy Smith of Atlanta, Texas, born in Daingerfield, Texas, who passed away on April 18, 2024 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Olen Lee Smith and Ola Mae Johnson Smith; and his wives, Jo Ann Munkres Smith and Sissy Scaff Smith. He is survived by: his children, Jackie Lee Smith of Cookville, Barry Alan Smith (Karen) of Liberty Eylau, Texas, Jo Lynne Hembree of Atlanta and Tina Willoughby of Caddo Lake, Texas; and his grandchildren, Chaney Weems (Brad), Jace Lane Smith, Joe Ann Combs (Nick), Justin Cobb (Jordan), Lindy Griffin, Loree Ballard (Keith) and Kristy Vaughan (Darrel). He is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and numerous other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Chambers Hospice.
