Betty Powell Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty Powell (Atlanta, Texas), who passed away on May 8, 2020 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Dexter Powell; her parents, Donald Carl Lanier and Vera Myrtle Dell Lanier; her daughter Ginger Stanton; her granddaughter Gabrielle "Gabbie" Stanton; and her brother-in-law Mike Dupree.

She is survived by: her sister Donna Dupree of Atlanta, Texas; her siblings-in-law, Treaca, Jim Huston of Atlanta, Texas, Trevelyn and Nelda Powell of Gilmer, Texas; her great grandchild Cadence Stanton of Atlanta, Texas; and her close friends, Lori, James and Weston Huett of Atlanta, Texas. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
