She is survived by: her children, Robert Smith (Melody) of Rogers, David Smith (Brenda) of Rogers, Eddie Smith (Kathy) of Atlanta, Jack Smith (Stella) of Jefferson, Texas and LuJuana McDaniel of Atlanta, Texas; and her brother Gene Essex (Nicky) of Glasgow, Kentucky. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren.
