He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Otto Tonne and Floy Ray Jones Tonne; and his siblings-in-law, Priscilla Ann Sonnenberg Tonne and Robert Allen Feuillerat. He is survived by: his wife Nancy "Susan" Nolen Tonne (Labor Day); his children, Darrell Lee Tonne (Melissa), Douglas Allen Tonne (Denise) and Deborah Sue Jones (Bryant); his siblings, Benny Paul Tonne, Shirley Radene Tonne Berry (Clifford) and Elizabeth Annette Tonne McGill (Herman); his siblings-in-law, John Sanders Nolen (Sue) and Tommye "June" Nolen Feuillerat; and his grandchildren, Parker, Rachel, Paige, Rebecca, Sarah and Katheryn Tonne. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the New Sunset Community Church (814 W Avenue C, Killeen, TX 76541). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery (11463 TX-195, Killeen, TX 76542).
