He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Andrew Sr. and Laura James; his sister Barbara; his brother-in-law David Daniels; and his nephew Ricky Daniels.

He is survived by: his wife Anita James; his children, Jerry "Sonny" Pruiett, Cindy Reynolds (Darrell), Kristy Musser (John), Erica Ladrini (Jason) and Mariann James (Jay); and his sisters, Susie Daniels, Debbie Martin, Penny McEnturff and Judy Rose. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
