It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wayne Weeks of Athens, Texas, born in Hope, Arkansas, who passed away on March 30, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Karl Weeks and Annie Mildred Weeks (Logan); and his brother Karl Logan Weeks. He is survived by: his sons, Christopher Weeks (Gail) of New Braunfels, Jason Weeks (Jackie) of Athens and Todd Weeks (Stephanie) of Celina; his stepdaughter Stefani Worley (Brandon) of Colorado City, Texas; his brothers, Joe Weeks of Magnolia and Dean Weeks (Kathy) of Mt. Pleasant; and his grandchildren, Jonathan Weeks, Derrick Weeks, Garron Weeks, Hannah Weeks, Nathan Weeks, Jake Weeks, Zackery Worley, York Worley, Ashton Worley, Kaylee Worley, Elizabeth Worley, Emma Worley and Kyla Lopez.
The family has requested that remembrances of Wayne be made in the form of contributions to The Hospice of East Texas Foundation.
