He was predeceased by: his parent Jerry Wayne Dodd; his stepfather Gerald D. Fowler; and his brothers, Michael Dodd and Keith Dodd. He is survived by: his mother Fern Fowler (Slaton) of Brownsboro; his nieces, Lisa Dodd of Shreveport and Amber Dodd of Shreveport, Louisiana; his uncle Norman "Domer" Slaton of Malakoff; and his aunt Gwenda Billups of Tyler. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
