It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wanda Fitzgerald of Athens, Texas, who passed away on January 21, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer Griffin and Lucille Griffin; her son Terry Fitzgerald; and her siblings, Ronald Griffin and Joyce Strickland.
She is survived by: her husband Dennis Fitzgerald of Athens, Texas; her daughter Vicky Watkins (Ronnie Watkins, Sr.); her grandchildren, Ronnie Watkins, Jr. (Katy), Valerie Lazarchick (Will), Harley Fitzgerald, Shana Ray Fitzgerald (Adam) and Mae Whitman (Michael); her great grandchildren, Lillie, Jason Lazarchick, Tripp, Hattie Watkins, Brayden, Aiden Whitman, Bre Ray, Adalie Willis and Junior Fitzgerald; and her brother Donald Ray Griffin.
