It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Valerie Lilly (Athens, Texas), who passed away on August 17, 2018, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecil Eugene Macdonald and Aileen Melinda Henegan MacDonald; her husband Edwin Lilly; and her sister Daphne Walker. She is survived by: her son Kevin Lilly of Athens; her daughter-in-law Jeaneane Lilly of Athens; her sisters, Pam (Reto Veraguth) of Blonay, Switzerland, Sheila (John Allen) of London and England; her nieces, Melody Pavey of Barcelona, Spain, Sean Veraguth of Lucerne and Switzerland; her nephew Mark Veraguth of Blonay; her grandchildren, Melody (Chad Briggs) of Houston, Marisa (Chris Phillips) of Austin and Marc (Heather Lilly) of Plano; her great grandchildren, Hunter Teague, Cutter Briggs, Kenzie Briggs, Marin Phillips, Keane Phillips, Mariah Lilly, Austin Lilly and Madison Lilly; and also Switzerland.
