He was predeceased by: his parents, Ivan Ray and Elizabeth Faye Gann; and his great-nephew Christopher Ellison Nuyen II. He is survived by: his son John; his sister Debbie; his brother-in-law Jerry Benson; his brother Robert; his sister-in-law Jenny Gann; his nephews, Curt Hance and Mike Hance; his great-nephews, Brody, Sawyer, Kyle, Connor and Ian Nuyen; and his great-niece McKenzie Nuyen.
