She was predeceased by: her parents, William Maynard and Greeta Brown Maynard; her son Anthony "Tony" Mathiews; her sisters, Billie Shipman and Betty Maynard; her brother-in-law T. V. Early; and the father of her children Charles Wylie Mathiews.
She is survived by: her children, Terrie, Matt and Angela Menchaca; her grandchildren, Matt Mathiews (Lorri) of Athens, Angela Menchaca of Athens and Terrie Leston (John) of Denton; and her great grandchildren, Gabriela Rodriguez of Athens, Andrew Rodriguez of Athens, Madilynn Mathiews of Athens, Cassie Lamb (Robbi) of Rensselaer, Meagan Rodriquez of Athens, British Columbia, Lisha Leston Harrison (Richard) of Vancouver and Lezli Leston of Oklahoma.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Autry's Carroll-Lehr Funeral Home (1910 E Tyler St, Athens, TX 75751). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
