She was predeceased by: her parents, T. H. Palmer and Dollie Vernice Thompson (Jenkins); her son Rodney Howard; her brothers, Terry Palmer, Dwayne Palmer and Ronnie Rountree; and her grandson Trey Allen Christopher.
She is survived by: her children, Laura Gillispie (Kyle) of Overton, Shelley Pate of Athens and Jessica Roberts of Athens; her siblings, Debbie O'Neal (Danny) of Athens and Gary Palmer (Denise) of Athens; her grandchildren, Casey Lyles (Dugan), Whitney Christopher of Taylor Shay, C. J, Cowser, Drake Grammer (Emilee) and Logan Grammer; and her great grandchildren, Emma Loveless, Ella Loveless, Evie Loveless and Jayden Rowan.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to organizations supporting Alzheimer's or Dementia research.
