It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Paul MacKie of Athens, Texas, born in Waco, Texas, who passed away on March 3, 2021, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Mackie and Lula Mackie; and his siblings, Robert, Ed, Nolan Mackie, Edith Mills and Sallie Tindle.
He is survived by: his wife Betty; his children, Darren Mackie (Carolyn) of Palestine and Kelley Stidd (Scott) of Keller; his grandchildren, Ryan Mackie (Elizabeth) of Flower Mound, Megan Roan (Joe) of Keller, Emily Stinson (Andrew) of Rockwall and Robyn Culpepper (Mitchell) of Keller; and his great grandchildren, Henry, Claire and James Mackie.
